Saturday June 27th 2026 marked the official opening of New York City pools for the summer of 2026 nyc mayor took a splash into the pool in east Harlem . Free pools will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm until September 13th 2026 and will be closed from 3 pm to 4 pm for cleaning . Rules are a swimsuit and a lock are required to keep belongings safe .
